Ignatius Carroll told WSVN. Stay on targetcenter_img City of Miami Police also responded to the scene and contacted the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to assist in capturing the reptile. As they waited for the trapper over the course of the next hour, however, the alligator kept moving.“Alligators are known to be dangerous, especially something that’s 11 foot,” said Carroll. Crews ensured that no one got too close to the alligator.“For about an hour, they monitored this alligator, along with Miami Police, as it continued to make its way further into the residential neighborhood,” Carroll said.Photo Credit: Miami Fire RescueOfficials made a move after the alligator settled in an elderly couple’s backyard and found itself contained in the space.The trapper was able to rope the animal, but wet weather put the trapper’s safety in jeopardy. “The ground is wet, the alligator is wet.
