There were 1.9 days suitable for fieldwork for the week ending April 17th. Oat planting progressed behind the 5-year average,but ahead of 2015. Corn planting remains at zero percent planted. Winter wheat maturity is ahead of schedule, and the crop continues to look great. Some damage to fruit trees is anticipated due to the recent drop in temperatures, but the extent is unknown at this time.
